Ali (Budaiya, Bahrain Island)

Decorating with metallics, especially gold, is super trendy right now, and it’s easy to add a bit of “gilded age” splendor to your house without going overboard. A special highlight to such an interior is given by paintings with elements of gold. We are happy to show you such a recent project for our client from Bahrain.

With this project the main theme was sky. Perhaps because it's the color of both the sky and the sea: In color therapy, blue tones are said to evoke clarity, pureness, and increased intuition. In the home, the shade is immediately calming and welcoming, whether used in a deep navy for a touch of drama.

As for the decoration, the client`s space is mainly gold, black, grey and white colors.
For the paintings we decided to go the same way but to add a bit of drama and definition.
Choosing a theme is often a productive way to launch a decorating project. Here, for instance, the focus is sky and water.

SUMMER SUNSET- This sunset painting was created to memorize the moment when the sun is hiding and the air is still. The last rays of light reflecting from the surface are glowing at the horizon, and in the water depth night shadows are starting to appear. But the pale pink sky is still bright and clear, contrasting with the navy ocean and inspiring the artist.

WATERSCAPE - This ocean painting was inspired by the sunset over the sea horizon. Imagine last sunbeams reflected in the sea waves and light up the sky, the dark shadows are starting to appear in the waves and all nature is going to dive deeply into sleep. But the light always comes after the darkness, and this natural cycle is telling us about all the good things that will happen again even if now we don't feel very well. The artist depicted the ocean in deep blue, navy, and green colors and combined them with a light color of the sky and amber color of the setting sun. 

MORNING OCEAN - This abstract painting is a representation of an ocean morning beginning. Sun has risen, the sky is filled with light. The ocean is starting to wake up. In this landscape abstraction, there is a dominance of the color blue which is visible in the sky as well as in the ocean. Also, the author used shades of light blue, white and goldenrod color. This artwork will look tastefully in modern interior.

FETTERS OF THE SOUL - The author put hope into his artwork, hope in the moments when things are not going very well or nothing is clear in the person's life. He portrayed the heavens with white clouds and bright radiant rays breaking through them. It is the sun that is the embodiment of hope and unbreakable faith in oneself.

NIGHT SKY - This abstract artwork was inspired by the eternal theme of opposition between light and shadow, day and night. An author combined deep blue, white and light beige colors on the canvas. Abstract composition gives an impression as if it takes the viewer inwards into its own inner space. The chaotic motion of white brushstrokes makes this painting full of energy, dynamics and expression.
